March Break 2017
We thought about going out west to take the girls to a real mountain - but, Heather's desire for absolute relaxation and the girls 2 months of Jozo demanded a southern escape. So, I cashed in all my Marriott points (thanks Target...) and we headed to Puerto Vallarta for 9 days of a relaxed beach vacation...
Travel to Mexico proved to that my family doesn't share my ability to sleep anywhere while travelling without going insane. In order to get to Mexico as early as possible, we left Thursday night and connected through Montreal (arriving at 1:45) - the Air Canada lounge didn't open until 4:00 AM - so, we had to find beds in sub optimal conditions... I'm not sure what was worse - the sleeping conditions or dealing with Charlotte when we had to wake her from her bench nap - she was a total lunatic. Half awake - half asleep - totally nuts...
Once we arrived, it all seemed worthwhile - the kids loved the resort and the view from the room was great
This is where we had breakfast every day - kids loved the pancakes and waffles and I had the Huevos Rancheros every single day - amazing...
